The voice message service
The voice message service (0870 432 5464) is checked regularly. It can be used for personal messages from patients, especially if there is a need for confidentiality. It should not be used to arrange, change or cancel appointments, except for new patient initial consultations in Cambridge.

Using email
- Email is an important communications resource, not least for its environmental advantages.
- Email isn’t suitable or acceptable for changing or cancelling appointments. Please do this by telephone.
- Practitioners can’t normally engage in email correspondence about matters which should properly be discussed during an appointment. This is partly a question of time, partly that email simply isn’t efficient or appropriate for this purpose.
- We use email to send specific information to individuals as necessary. We also use it to send news or important information to those who have asked us to include them in our email mailing list. If you wish to be included, please send a formal request via email to .
